Setting your iOS device ready for Automation

Here are the steps to follow, to setting your iOS device ready for Automation.

  1. On the phone go to General -> Profiles & Device Management, check whether your developer account is displayed.
  2. Go to Settings -> Safari > AutoFill.
  3. Click the Autofill icon and uncheck User names and passwords.
  4. To clear any saved usernames and passwords, click Edit to the right of User names and passwords.

  1. Go to Settings -> Safari -> Advanced
  2. Enable JavaScript, Web Inspector

 

Enable Javascript, Web Inspector7.To make sure connection is established, go back to Appium Studio and click on “Safari” -> Code and Run. It establishes communication to device and tries to open Safari browser.
